Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. -Proverbs 22:6 KJV
God says we are to train our children in the way they need to go.
What way is that? God's way.
So, how do we train them in God's way?
By living out what He has told us in His Word, by sharing His Word with them and by being a good example to them of what a life surrendered to God looks like.
Father, thank you for Your Son who was and is our greatest example. Help us to follow Your ways as our children follow in our steps. Help us to live for your glory so they will too. In Jesus' Name, amen.
