How many times each morning do we greet people? My family, the clerk at the gas station, my co-workers and anyone else I might meet along the way will usually hear me say, "Good morning! How are you this morning?"
In Psalm 5:3, David said,
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
In essence, David was saying, "Good morning, Lord. I want to do this day Your way."
Don't you think that's a great way to start each day, by focusing on Him first?
When we start the day with Him, and focus on the Lord throughout the day no matter what comes, that's a day that's pleasing to Him.
Have you talked to Him yet this morning?
If not, just say, "Good morning, Lord. I want to do this day Your way."
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
{Daily Selah} is a mini-devotional, a pause to ponder about the Lord and how He wants us to live.
