Occasionally, I read "traditional" Jewish writings to help gain some insight when studying the roots of my faith.
Recently, I happened upon an article that saddened me and challenged me at the same time.
A rabbi was rather upset at the term "completed Jew" which some Messianic Jews use in reference to having found faith in Jesus the Messiah.
The rabbi went on to say that Christianity is not in any way a form of Judaism, much less a completed Judaism.
His statements saddened me, because it was very clear that, like most Jews today, this man has rejected the Messiah of Israel and the world.
I was challenged to do some deeper research into the idea of Christianity as "Completed Judaism," hence the title of this article.
To explore the question
raised in the above title, let's consider the testimony of the
testimony of the first believers, the testimony of prominent Jewish believers (in more modern times), and the testimony of
Jesus Christ.
