Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing. -1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMP
We encourage our children when they do well and encourage them when they don't. As Christians, we also need encouragement.
My word of encouragement for you today is this:
God is on your side. He is with You. He loves You. He will do what's best for you.
I need a dose of encouragement sometimes. You need it sometimes, too. Let's ask God to give us opportunities to be an encourager today, to build up our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Father, thank You for the encouragement You bring to our hearts by Your presence and through Your Word. Thank You for teaching us and admonishing us when we need it. Help us to be encouraged and to be encouragers, to build up others in the body of Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen.
