When the Storm Clouds Gather

Daily Selah is a mini-devotional, a pause to ponder about the Lord and how He wants us to live.

Every person on the planet has experienced difficulties at some point in their existence. We all have ups and downs, trials and struggles, heartaches and losses. It's all part of the human experience.

Christians face the same hardships as unbelievers. But, the difference is, we don't have to face those things alone or in our own strength.

"For the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you not forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV)

No matter what storm clouds are gathering in your life right now, remember; YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  God is right there with you; He won't leave you or abandon you. 



Father, thank You for the promises You gave us in Your Word to encourage and strengthen us. Help us to remember that You are always right here at our side. Thank You for the assurance that You will never leave. And, thank You that we can bring our troubles to You because Jesus purchased our redemption, tore the veil and granted us access to Your throne. We praise you, Father and we trust You to be with us always and to provide for every need.  In Jesus' wonderful Name, Amen.
