Every parent wants their children to be successful, but God doesn't measure success like the world does. When my teenage boys told me a few days ago they were both going to sign up for Bible quizzing this year, it made me smile. Many people don't realize the value of memorizing and meditating on God's Word, but it is crucial to an obedient life in Christ. And in God's eyes, obedience is the measure of success, not money or fame.
